- is a charity run for the benefit of less privileged people in Africa. The word “Abaana” comes from a language found in the country of Uganda (East Africa) and means “children.” Most of our work is geared towards children in Africa, but not exclusively. Abaana hopes to share the love of God in a practical way with those who need it most
- provides support to vulnerable and marginalized sick people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) by funding projects which allow AMAVM health care professionals to provide medical, emotional and social care to these patients so that they are able to contribute to AMAVM-run community development projects. Fair Aid Society is committed to working with competent, caring, generous and honest health care professionals in the DRC.
Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) - PhD Programme
- The MCDC PhD programme offers support to candidates of high academic calibre who can demonstrate a strong commitment to research relevant to the prevention or control of malaria.
- A rigorous procedure will be used to select the most able African students to pursue PhD studies based in the African countries participating in the programme – Ghana, Malawi, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda. Approximately 20 students will be selected, and each allocated to one of the five African partner universities.
