- Transform the lives of Ethiopians through the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ, demonstrating God’s sacrificial and caring love to those in need.
- In May of 2005, Covenant Orphanage in Holeta, Ethiopia was born of humble beginnings, taking in 8 children. Although space and resources are currently limited to a small number of children, the orphanage hopes to one day meet the needs for as many as 250 children. The long term goal is to develop a secure compound to include small homes where the kids can live in family units of 10-12 children. We also envision a medical clinic and a school. Currently, the living conditions at the orphanage are substandard and demand immediate attention. The infrastructure of the compound itself is in need of repair. The security fence, bathroom, and kitchen are also in need of significant repair to be brought to a fully functional level.
- Working with SIM (Serving in Mission) Ministry as a Bible translator. Includes information on the Aari, Baana, Gurage and Mursi people.
- is located in southern Ethiopia where there is limited healthcare available for a population of more than 10 million people. Ethiopia is among the poorest countries in the world and unable to provide adequate healthcare, especially in rural regions. To address the great need, Soddo Christian Hospital was established to provide compassionate care and comfort for the sick in the name of Jesus Christ and for the sake of God’s glory in the spirit of servanthood and sacrifice. St Luke’s Health Care Foundation of Winfield, IL was established to provide funding and assist with the operationally management of the hospital.
- is an international mission organization with more than 1,600 active missionaries serving in more than 50 countries. SIM members serve God among many diverse people groups in Africa, Asia, and South America.
- SIM workers are “international” themselves, representing more than 30 nationalities—including nations that in the past only received missionaries. They also serve in a wide variety of career fields. The SIM family can use people of every ethnicity who have almost any skill imaginable!

There have been great seasons of harvest with millions coming to Christ, the greatest being since the failure and collapse of Communism. Protestants were fewer than 200,000 – 0.8% of the population – in 1960, but by 2000 this had become nearly 12 million and 19.7% of the population.
