  33. OMANGA O. JOSPHAT says:

I’m a registered KU student with registration number, I21S/5203/08. Due to financial difficulties experienced by me and my family, I’ve sat for only one semester’s examinations since I came to KU followed by calling-off two successive semesters because of these financial problems.

I’m a partial orphan and my widowed mother does everything to make my studies a success but the burden is too big for her now that I’m a self-sponsored and she is a mere peasant not forgetting that there are other siblings to cater for. Besides, she heavily depends on well-wishers for my fees payment, a fact attributed to my first semester’s success whereby my mother arranged for a harambee with the well-wishers raising the semester’s fees.

This coming semester will be a big disaster for me and my family now that I’ve a very huge fees balance – something that might make me call-off the semester or even discontinue my studies. My most humble plea to you in this message is to kindly request you, that if it is within your means, to assist me complete the remaining part of my fees so that I may continue with my studies successfully. Advice and direction to other sources of financial assistance will be highly appreciable.

It’s my prayer that you will take my request into favorable consideration as I look forward to hearing from you. May God bless you abundantly.

I hereby wish to acknowledge with much appreciation the financial support you’ve been offering to the vulnerable as well as less fortunate students, making them advance their dreams to reality. It is through this aid that the gap between the rich and the poor is narrowed, hence promoting a better and unified standard of living in LDC’s, for instance Kenya.

Therefore on behalf of all the scholarships’ benaficiaries, may i say a big THANK YOU! and may the Almighty God who is Omniscent richly bless all the financers, and mightly empower you to continue being used of the Lord for His glory. As you go out and as you come in, may the Lords hand be upon you, and may your pockets never go dry in Jesus name. Amen

Back in 2009 i applied a chance in a local university for a Bsc Computer Science, i was given a chance and with my savings i enrolled for the programme. I’m now a second year in the institution but my worry is any time i can abort my studies because i have arrears from previous semesters which i have no one to help me pay. tiz my sincere appeal that any scholarship accorded will b highly apreciated.
