government secondary school owerri is one secondary school that should be considered before ranking top secondary school in nigeria. the school have been recognised in the whole south east of nigeria to be of high reputation, and it has attracted universities from outside the continent. though the school may not be the oldest secondary school in the city but it is over 75 years old,her students have gathered many awards both from waec and neco, she has produced many well respected people in our society and her students have always up held their supprimacy any were they go.

This is just one of those unofficial rankings…how can you rate schools based on 450+ votes. I won’t say the ratings are rubbish, there just has to be a universal ranking system. You have to consider population, school fees, teacher-to-student ratio, competitions attended, Correlation between internal and external examinations etc.
BB says
what of Command in lagos?
Ms.E says
LOL, this list is ridiculous.
One doesn’t have to be a genius or have done any form of research to know that Queens College and Kings College have no business whatsoever on this list. Not anymore anyway. Certain schools have been left out, but I cannot say I am particularly sure about their order. Most of the schools here are in Lagos.
