Pan African School of Theology (PAST)
- Founded in 2006 by PACE Ministries International and given a mandate to provide higher education for a new generation of Christian leaders. The vision called for a new school that would nurture students to be Biblical scholars, peacemakers, evangelists, leaders and spokesmen. They were to be creative thinkers and passionate men-of-action, above reproach, equipped to shepherd the Church and redeem all things to the glory of God.
- PAST is a private, inter-denominational, residential and day college located in the Aberedare highlands of central Kenya. It facilitates accredited university-level programmes in theology-related fields

The scholarships are funded by mission-minded churches and individuals who are concerned for the strategic mission to the Third World through the Seminary. All Scholarships for Third World students are awarded in the form of an interest-free forgivable loan. This loan is automatically reduced by 20 % for each year a student serves the church in his home country or mission field. In the event those scholarship students stay in the United States after graduation, then they are obligated to pay back the scholarship they received throughout their years at ITS as stipulated in the Five-Year Deferred payment Plan stated below.

ELCA International Scholarships

Fund for Theological Education
- FTE is a leading ecumenical advocate for excellence and diversity in Christian ministry and theological scholarship. Our work supports the next generation of leaders among pastors and scholars. We provide fellowships and a network of support to gifted young people from all denominations and racial/ethnic backgrounds—encouraging those with gifts for leadership to consider vocations in ministry and teaching and nurturing them in their exploration and study.
Christian International Scholarship Foundation (CISF)
- is a non-profit ministry focused on identifying and investing in the advanced theological education of gifted Christian leaders from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. We are specifically focused on helping those men and women who have already been identified as leaders and will return to positions of senior leadership such as: Executive directors of Christian Relief Organizations; Founders and senior faculty members of Bible Colleges and Seminaries; Presidents of denominations and Authors of desperately needed and culturally relavent theological books
- CISF SELECTION CRITERIA IS TOUGH. Each scholar must: Be a proven leader from a majority world nation; Evidence deep faith in Jesus Christ; Have exhausted educational possibilities at home; Have a job waiting for them at home or a viable ministry plan – one which demands advanced theological education and Be accepted into a program at a leading university or seminary.
- Partners with evangelical African churches and/or ministries for equipping Africans to be missionaries to their own cultures. The purpose of EAFC is to equip those with calling from God to do whatever work God has called them to for His glory.
The Methodist Global Education Scholarship Program
- The finest leadership development program must have quality students. And any effort to recruit the best students must have a mechanism to provide scholarship assistance whenever it is needed.
- John Wesley understood that truth when he founded Kingswood School in 1748. He knew that the poor children of coal miners could also become dynamic Christian leaders, dedicated to serving others.
- That truth is just as important 250 years later – leaders can come from any background. Our task is to make it possible for them to develop in wisdom and direction.
- The Scholarship Program will be administered at the regional level, with the fund providing direct scholarship funds to institutions participating in the Technical Assistance and Scholars Programs on a matching-grant basis.
