Am I Eligible to Apply?

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older at the commencement of the course. If you are below 18, you must live with a student guardian approved by the Department of Home Affairs until you turn 18.
  • Be a citizen and resident of India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Kenya, Nepal, Bangladesh or Mauritius
  • Have an overall WAM achievement of 80% or above.
  • Be planning to begin your studies at any of the La Trobe Victorian Campuses in 2023.
  • Be applying for one of the eligible courses as listed on the website.
  • Meet the University’s English language requirements and all other conditions stated in the Offer Letter.

How Do I Apply – Next Steps

  • Submit a complete application for your chosen course commencing in Semester 2 (July) or Summer 1/Term 6 (November) intake of 2023 at the La Trobe University Victorian campuses.
  • You must provide the following documents:
    • A detailed resume
    • A personal statement of no more than 300 words or a 3-4 minute video to explain “Why you should be awarded the La Trobe University Excellence Scholarship”.
