There are several application-based and admission-based scholarships available. These scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, experiences, interests, and financial need.

What does the scholarship cover?

These scholarships cover between CAD$5,000 and 35,000, depending on the scholarship categories listed below.

Admission-based Scholarships

International Admission Scholarship – up to $5,000
Regional Excellence Scholarship (for top students from certain regions) – up to $5,000
Gold Standard Scholarship (for the top 5% of each faculty) – up to $6,000.

Application-based Scholarships

President’s International Distinction Scholarship – up to $120,000 (payable over 4 years)
International Leader Scholarship – up to $15,000
May Quon Undergraduate Scholarship (Chinese or Hong Kong citizens) – $100,000 (payable over 4 years).

To qualify for these scholarships, you must:

Be entering your first year of an undergraduate degree.
Have a valid Student Visa Permit.
Be a student from any other country except Canada.
Have applied for an undergraduate degree.
Display either superior admission average, accomplishments through leadership roles, leadership qualities, or self-declared financial need.

If you qualify for an admission-based scholarship, you will be notified by the admissions office.
To apply for one of the application-based scholarships, fill in the application form online and wait for the results.
