Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program

  • The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships were established by the Hungarian Government in 2013 to promote the internationalization of Hungarian higher education and attract top international students from all over the world.
  • These scholarships are supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and managed by the Tempus Public Foundation.

  • Any of the 30 participating higher education institutions in Hungary.

  • Any of the 800 eligible full-degree programs. 

NOTE:

  • Applicants can only apply for study fields determined by the educational cooperation programs in effect between Hungary and the Sending Partners/Countries.

Am I Eligible to Apply?

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • Not be a citizen of Hungary;
  • be at least 18 years old on August 31, 2024;
  • be nominated by your sending partner;
  • have the same citizenship as your sending partner.
