Scholarship Opportunity January 2010

We are awarding an academic merit scholarship for admission to Daystar University in January 2010.

Who qualifies for the Scholarship?

  • Must be committed Christians
  • Must have scored a mean grade of A or A- in high school.
  • Must have sat for K.C.S.E exams in 2008

What is the application procedure?
All applications must be typed. The following needs to be included:

  1. A biographical statement
  2. Personal Faith Statement
  3. Statement of Vocational goals
  4. Statement explaining why you are attracted to Daystar University
  5. Letter from your pastor or youth pastor
  6. Letter from a recent teacher who can speak of the applicant’s academic abilities and leadership potential.
  7. A copy of your high school result slip.

What is the application deadline?
The deadline for returning the applications is October 30th 2009. If you do not hear from us by 15th November 2009, please consider yourself unsuccessful.

Applicants who meet the qualifications above will also need to make an application for admission to Daystar University, latest by November 30th, 2009.

    I attended Daystar for an year and later dropped for my guardian got sick and could not be able to pay for my education. I have tried various attempts to get a scholarship but to no avail. My admission number is 07-0219 and is expiring next year. It was and still is my dream and vision to study and be of help to my family and community.Am currently volunteering in a christian organisation as their secretary.If I would be granted the Scholarship to continue and study even if I have to work for it, I will and be glad.     hi! i applied for a scholarship consideration in 2007 but unfortunately received a letter of interview invitation at a late date. i completed my kcse exams in 2002 but i have not hit the higher education target after getting an A- in the exams. please help me to accomplish my dreams. i would like to give my all to the financial aids committee for the good job and the entire daystar fraternity at large. thank you.
