Tuition Fees and Scholarships

Students who come from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland are required to pay tuition fees of between €6000 and €16,000.
There are scholarships available from institutions and public funded schemes like the Danish Government. These scholarships are available at selected Danish universities.

The Danish Government Scholarship Scheme offers scholarships for highly qualified non-EU/EEA citizens who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at UCN.

- Construction, energy and the environment
- Sales, exports and marketing
- IT and design
- Sport, services and hospitality

What does the scholarship cover?

A partial tuition fee waiver – 30 to 50% of the total tuition fees
Students may receive an additional partial monthly living costs allowance (only given under certain circumstances)

Am I Eligible to Apply?

You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU and the EEA
You must not be a permanent resident in an EU/EEA country
You must not be studying in Denmark through an exchange program or any other study agreement which offers a tuition fee waiver
You must show good academic results from previous studies or previously passed exams
You must have passed an English language test, preferably an IELTS test with a score of 6.0, or a similar recognized test with a high score

How do I Apply – Next Steps

First, fill in the scholarship application form, including a motivation letter stating the reasons for applying to UCN and your reasons for applying for the specific program in question.
Next, apply and be accepted to one of the English-taught study programs offered at UCN.

Note:

Candidates on UCN’s priority list must start the application for a residence permit for Denmark before they get the first decision of the scholarship application so that they are not late for the commencement of studies.
