St. Lawrence University – Undergraduate Scholarships

St. Lawrence awards Scholarships to Kenyan students.

St Lawrence Scholarship is a full scholarship and pays for tuition, fees, room and board, insurance, books, and miscellaneous expenses. This scholarship is awarded each year.

The Scholarship is typically awarded in “package” form, which includes some combination of grants, merit scholarships, and campus employment.

Students applying for the Kenya Scholarship must complete a copy of the International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA).

The ISFAA should be submitted at the same time as your complete application for admission.

Kenyan applicants living in Kenya who are completing the paper version of the application should submit their application and all supporting documentation to the St Lawrence University Kenya Semester Program Office as follows:

Kenyan applicants living in Kenya who are completing the on line version of the application should submit their supporting documentation to the St Lawrence University Kenya Semester Program Office.

Kenyan citizens living outside Kenya should submit their application and supporting documentation to the St Lawrence University Admissions Office in Canton, NY.

What are the application requirements?

Application. Applicants for admission may start their application by completing Part I of our application online or by downloading it and mailing it to the Office of Admissions.

All applicants for admissions must submit the Common Application with the required St. Lawrence Supplement.  They may submit the Common Application online or by downloading and mailing it to the Office of Admissions or the St. Lawrence University Kenya Semester Programme Office in Nairobi . They may also submit the St. Lawrence Common Application Supplement online or by downloading and mailing it to the Office of Admissions or the St. Lawrence University Kenya Semester Programme Office in Nairobi .

Application Fee. The US$60.00 application fee is waived for all Kenyan applicants.

    My name is Nelly Omwando, I am aged 21 years old. I sat for my KCSE in 2009 and attained a mean grade of C+. Life has never been easy since then. My mum who is single has struggled to pay for my schools fees during my high school course. I am currently a volunteer in a local NGO, that advocates for the rights of the young people. I have two years of experience in working with the youth, I have been a coordinator before. I have always dreamt of being in a lecture room, graduating with Bachelors of Arts in Sociology.

    The little that my mother earns cannot cater for my higher education fee, I am asking in Faith if its possible to get a scholarship, help me realize my dreams. I would like to volunteer anywhere without pay if am granted a full scholarship.

    well done. i am the teacher of certain secondary school in the coastal region in lamu, my students scored from c+ to B plain. i know they are from a poor background since i have been with them for seven years now. some of them work on harsh environment to earn the little fees reqiured at high. any help to assist theose who qualififed for university will be appreciated. please contact me and lets help atleats two or three to realise their goals and dreams. br. steve
