I agree with Range. Michaelhouse is a brilliant school. I will be going there in grade8, in 2 years. Patrick Lambie did choose Michaelhouse over all the schools in the top 10 list on this page. So if he turned out so good why is Michaelhouse not on the top 10 list here?

all of you are talking absolute nonsense. the best school in South Africa HAS to be Grey College – because of its excellent sporting, cultural AND academic fascilities its a shame i couldnt go there, cause its THAT hard to get accepted. other promotable schools such as Eunice, St. Stithians & St. Dominics College are SUPPOSED to be nominated. its bonkers they arent even on the list…

I happened to go to St. Michael’s d.s.b(Michael House) myself…True that it is the 2nd most expensive in the country, after Hilton College but it is indeed have the most excellent academic record about the others.

Michaelhouse in KZN is amazing! Why they are not in the Top Ten I don’t know. Also where are Kingsmead College and Roedean? They are the Top Girl Schools in JHB and two of the best schools in South Africa. Their academic results are fantastic, they having amazing facilities and are known for producing outstanding young women. They, along with MHS, are internationally renowned schools. They should definitely be there.

St Alban’s College all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!! No doubt.

They might not be the most expensive but their priorities are straight, more so than any other school in South Africa, especially after the steroids episode and Sunday Time article and their response, and the 702 interview with David O’Sullivan. Follow the links:
