For me I would like to comment on the performance of schools. My best school is Bweranyangi because it put my first choice at that school. I am trying my level best so that Imay go their in my year three and year four plus my “A’ LEVEL”.
I would like to apply for a vacancy this year.

i think mengo ss is very notable for being uganda’s oldest secondary school, excellent performance at both A and O levels, dominating university admissions(on both government and private sponsorships), being the leading day school in the country for quite a number of years and many other factors.

  9. brayo says

    July 13, 2013 at 2:04 pm

mengo ss deserves that honour because when it comes to grading according to the number of first grades in o-level, mengo has never exceeded five places.

  10. Peter says

    July 13, 2013 at 1:50 pm

i think mengo ss deserves an enormous honour because it admits a very big number of students to the university every year and is currently the leading day school in the country. If schools like makerere college, kiira college are on the list, then mengo ss is supposed to be above them..

I am a parent of Kiira College Butiki, for long I have been listing it among the best 10 school. For sure when you get time and analyse results of last year and even the rest of the years before, the school still holds the flag for eastern and northern regions. Thanks

  15. Ivan says

    February 9, 2013 at 10:53 am

i think my school Kiira College Butiki deserves to be on the list because its the best school in the whole of eastern region and north according to the recently released UCE results.

I think Old kampala s.s.s deserves to be on the list. These guys take the second grade students for senior one but still get a student with 8 in 8. At A-level there best with quadral A’s come with 19 from 0-level. These guys are seriously teaching. Mind u, all the so called best schools take cream of students, with 4, 5, 6 and may be 7 from PLE results. Or 8 to 12 for senior five. They end up producing good grades and we praise them, yet they took the best from PLE and UCE. I think we need to select depending on which students join the different schools

You should have not included Busoga college Mwiri as the standard is completely down to mention. If Mwiri can only send three students to public universities on government sponsorship, why could it be among the top ten. I would include Kiira College Buitki which doing well. Thanks
