I don’t know what organization is behind these rankings, but I think the whole thing is a bunch of crap. Getting up and putting together a list of Accra and Cape schools, and claiming them to be the top ten schools in Ghana is simply absurd. What about Navasco, GSTS, Prempeh College, Mawuli School, St. Peter’s. All these schools are without doubt among the finest second cycle schools in Ghana, with proven academic track record. Are those behind the rankings telling us that Aggrey Memorial, for example, is a better school than GSTS (which just celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2009) or St. Peter’s? Aaaaba, give us a break!
